Virgin Atlantic are offering a Silver or Gold Flying Club membership as a status match if you have an elite membership with with 1 out of 12 airlines.
How does it work?
So the complimentary status match does have a couple of caveats that are prerequisites before being eligible for the status match:
- A future revenue or redemption flight with a Virgin Atlantic marketed flight in either Premium or Upper class
- You are not eligible if you had Silver or Gold status before through the status match scheme
Once the requirements are met, Virgin Atlantic will upgrade your status 72 hours before your qualifying flight.

Additional Bonus to BA Executive Club Members
British Airways recently released information about some changes with the BA Executive Club Membership. Funny enough, Virgin Atlantic jumped on that and are offering a bonus status match for Executive Club members.

For a limited time only until February 14th 2024, Virgin Atlantic are offering a Silver or Gold Flying Club membership if you have Bronze or Silver BA executive club membership respectively. I think this a great opportunity if you have any of the Executive club memberships (except blue ofcourse :D)
