Manchester Airport – Terminal 2

The 1903 Lounge is located in Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport. This lounge is one of three lounges that are available in Terminal 2 and accessible with the Priority Pass card. However, access to this lounge requires an additional fee (£16 in person) so it’s something to keep in mind!

The lounge is easy to find, it is located airside on the upper level of the main terminal atrium.

Design and Ambiance

The lounge is very new with a very chique interior design. It was very well lit with a lot of seating area.

The lounge was relatively empty during my visit which was a great to do some work and enjoy the many food and drink options.

Food and Drink

I know this section of the review is what you’re really after!

In terms of food, there was a range of food from sandwiches to main dishes:

  • Cheese and ham sandwiches
  • Pasta Salads
  • Chicken and Rice
  • Meatballs in Marinara sauce
  • Pastries
  • Muffins and cupcakes

The drinks menu was very impressive including soft drinks, spirits , beer and wine. The drinks are noted on a menu which is rare in lounges! Please find the menu attached in the image block at the beginning of the review!

Facilities

The facilities in this lounge were limited to restrooms. There were no showers available, which is not a deal breaker for me but might be for some! Especially since there is an additional fee when using the Priority Pass card.

Conclusions

My overall feel for this lounge was that it is comfortable, spacious and quiet! The food and drink options were great in comparison to other lounges in the UK. The limited facilities is a downside especially when there is an additional fee to enter the lounge.

I haven’t been to all the lounges in Terminal 2 so can’t judge which one is the overall best, but its safe to say that I would definitely visit the 1903 Lounge again!
